Loading track for the wrong side
Hello,
My load track button loads to both sides and cutting the ongoing tune in the middle, starting the one I've loaded to the other side.
That were embarrassing moments at the party, it happen four times untill I just loaded from the keyboard.
PLEASE ADVISE!

What model DDJ ... and it sounds like you were connected to rekordbox?
DDJ SX 1.07 firmware on macbook pro mavericks.
What do you mean by a recordbox?
I was connected only to 6 channel mixer by two XLR's.
Sorry, brainfart - dealing with too many XDJ-RX questions recently!
What was the software / version you were running?
Serato dj, the latest version.
First, enable the "protect playing deck" option in the settings. That will prevent you from loading a song to a deck currently playing another song.
Second, check that you're not double-pressing the button and doing "instant doubles."
Third, check to see if that happens on any other deck or is it just deck A (for example)?
Locking playing deck was a good idea. :)
My guess i sthat it's more of an electricity problem, because in my last party, all went good except to "tics" in a middle of a song.
either my USB gor dusty or the electricty in the venue had some drops.
Still anoying.
