Hey guys,

I want to use an external hard drive to do both storing all my music on and use the same thing as rekordbox with CDJs but without have every title twice through "exporting" it to the device as I normally do with USB thumb drives.

Is this even possible?

Sorry, it's not possible to "analyze in place" even though it's something I've been asking for since day one of rekordbox. You need to either use two devices or expect that rekordbox will double the amount of space required when you export.
