[SOLVED] CDJ 2000 nexus SERATO HID mode with DJM 900 SRT Mixer

Hello everyone. So my question is this. Can the CDJ 2000 Nexus Players be connected in HID mode when using the DJM 900 SRT so that you don't need a Time code CD or SD card? It seems strange to me that it wouldn't be able to since the DJM 900 SRT would take the place of the SL box.. If anyone knows how to do it, or if it can be done? Please let me know. Thanks.

Pulse

Correct. When you are using the CDJs, no timecode is necessary -- and you wouldn't want it, as you get better performance, more features and lower latency when using HID over timecode.

And yes, the SRT takes place of the SL box, so really, you could DJ with only USB cables connected to your computer and no audio cables between the CDJs and mixer!

Ok thanks Pulse. I will give it a shot.
