DJM 800/XDJ 1000 with record box?
if I setup up a DJM 800 with a pair of XDJ 1000'S could I use record box? do you need the DJM 900 nexus? could i use any mixer and plug the XDJ 1000's into my computer and use record box?

No you don´t need a DJM 900 Nexus to operate a pair of XDJ 1000s with rekordbox.
the DJM 900 NXS has the option to sync its beat-effects to the clock of the XDJs and to prelisten tracks direct from a laptop running rekordbox.
