DJM 2000 Headphone Issue

there is absolutely no need to switch them that fast, just select the one you want! it's like saying 'when i bang my head into the wall it hurts'.... well don't do it then!!

Its just to show. When i switch not that often its the same problem with the sound!

well, u got this distortion on ANY TIME when u push a button on the INST FX section. if u switch them faster, u can hear it better. nothing more is showd in the video clip.

i got this "bug" on my djm-2000 too. i can't remeber exactly.... but i think i got this problem during the firmware update by pioneer.

Jep, some time ago I posted the same issue. It was with the older firmware. Answer from pioneer: It is so and it'll always be so!
They said, it is meanly in the "headphone" circle, because of the lower quality! But I have the same problem with the output, when I'm playing vocals or smooth melodic stuff! But like I said, they told me that is has something to do with the electric circles in the mixer so I don't think it could be fixed by an update!

Got the djm 900 nexus the same issue ?

I'm not quite sure, I have no 900. When I asked I got the answer from Pioneer that this issue is @ all mixers (800,700,600...). But at this time the 900 was not released, so someone has to test it!

Can someone please test it on a djm 900 nexus ?

I think it has to do with terrible taste in music. The mixer realizes it and is trying to compensate. Not much you can do about that.

I'm with @Marsano; no need to flip it around so quickly.  I rarely change effects mid-use anyhow.

No :D its distorted too if i change once ;) what music you are listen for ryan ? Classic ? Hip hop ? ;D i love all electronic and my mixers too :)

I encountered this issue years ago in the DJM-800. At first I was afraid that this was also noticeable for the audience on the main out. But that wasn't the case, however it still remains an annoying issue and I never understood why it needs to occur since main out is clean. I think the DJM-800 also has the issue more then the 2000 as far as I can judge from the YouTube movie.

Today i got a djm 900 nexus. Cant detect problems anymore! :) it seems that pioneer have fixed that issue with the new djm... But its still bad for all other users of older mixxers!
