[SOLVED] DJM-900SRT Won't wake up from auto standby- flashes three times

I just got a new DJM-900SRT in the last week and when it goes into auto standby and I press the "wake up" button I can hear something inside and then the light on the button flashes three times in a row, pauses and flashes three times in a row.  The flashing sequence seems to continue indefinitely and the unit never wakes up.  I fear this is defective, please advise.

Just for anyone else who has a problem where the light flashes three times- I called pioneer support and they confirmed it was defective.  Cheers.
