cdj2000 sound card, whats the reason?
i have a question for all, i'm running two cdj2000's xone 92, serato sl3. running midi from my cdj's to my laptop , serato running everything else. I want to try something different and was thinking of using rekord box but am bit iffy about it.
the question i have, why do they install a sound card in the cdj's? What can i bennifit from having sound cards in my cdjs.
Any feedback would help.
cheers.

1) The CDJ-2000 is also an HID (Human Interface Device) and can be used as a Traktor Controller.
Each CDJ-2000 soundcard can reproduce the sound of each Traktor control deck (in case there is no other soundcard installed, or in case this card is prefered as a better or more compatible solution).
2) The CDJ-2000 soundcard can also be used for recordings (although I would not choose it for that for many reasons)
I hope these 2 examples reply to your question.
@Dave > At the very least, it means you require less gear to setup before a gig and everything works more seamlessly.
