CDJ 2000 Platter Problem

Have my CDJ 2000s for about a year now. Never had a problem till tonight. The platter keeps stopping and tightens up. Music will still play but have no control of it from the platter. It keeps doing it over and over. Like there is something stuck in the platter. They are all ways in a case and have never been dropped or mishandled. Any Ideas. Thanks.

Fixed -- did you copy and paste from somewhere?

Have you tried adjusting the jog tension knob?

RichieStyles

Yes the jog tension knob has no effect.

RichieStyles

It just stops turning then I have to keep tapping and playing with it to try to move it again.

Pulse

Send it in for servicing; technical support contacts are at the right.

Shawn Harvick

Did you find a resolution to the problem or what the actual problem was?  I too am having this same issue.

BriChi

I had this issue too, the platter came off the track while spinning back which locked the deck up, throw it into cdj quick to get it off vinyl and it continues, shifted the platter and it "snapped" back into place.
