Does the 3band waveformreplace the old colourd waveforms
First of all congratulations on the new release.
I am converting the databases to 6.0 as we speak.
Just curious are the new waveforms going to appear on certain models when exporting. For example nxs2 tour1 xdj rr xdj rx2 and xdj xZ.

Unfortunately not - the new waveforms will only be within rekordbox and on future hardware as they are new, rasterized waveforms.
Is this only for the paid versions? Add new track analysis is greyed out for me
It could be you've already had that process done.
Well I don't see the option for 3form where the blue and RBG choices are.

thanks pulse I figured it out.
The issue was, I installed 6 but the icon for 5 never updated in the app bar so it was launching 5 and saying it was 6.
Personally I think the 3Band waveform is hopeless. The main track waveform is so shallow as to be illegible.
The amplitude of the waveform more accurately shows the amplitude of the audio for that frequency band vs. that in the RGB:
