I recently bought a new ddj sb3 and have a macbook laptop its updated but it's a 2010. I also have the dj serato pro. When I plug in the usb, controller to laptop, it lights up like a Christmas tree but it wont control anything. I can play music on the laptop and control the music from laptop but not from controller please help

The DDJ-SB3 ships with the ability to unlock Serato DJ Lite. While the controller is compatible with Serato DJ Pro, you would require the purchase of a Pro license or "kit" to use it.
Could it be from not plugging in a speaker yet?
