All those that have the IOS13 issue have you tried plugging your iPhone into the USB before powering up the mixer? I'm still on IOS12, but the issue started for me with the last two updates where it would only record from the MIC.
Plug in before Mixer is powered on and the app functions for me like it always used to.

Thanks for that feedback, I'll pass it along to our team as a possible clue to investigate.
Being a geek I wanted to test things out, so updated my iPhone 8 to iOS 13.1.3. DJM-REC works now whenever I connect to my DJM900NSX2. Recording works perfectly, although the recording levels do not increase nor decrease from the master out, but they do when changing channel volume, including trim. Not an issue though when you can change the level slider in the app.
This may or may not fix the issue but iOS 13.2.2 is out now that has a fix for a bug that was pushing background applications out of memory: https://www.macrumors.com/2019/11/07/apple-releases-ios-13-2-2/
Any news on an update for DJM-REC to sort out the issues?
