Switching Macbooks not working

I am controlling Rekordbox with a DDJ-FLX6.  Working fine with my Macbook Pro 14" 2012.

When I switch over to use the same controller with a different laptop - Macbook Pro 13" 2017 I get the following.

All the lights light up like normal but then revert to just the bliue lights showing and no connectivity between the Controller and Rekordbox.

I have installer latest drivers and everything is up to date updates wise.

Anyone help?  Its probably something stupidly basic.
