question regarding this device:

it is flagged as effect, but that means no motor movement, is this correct? What is the best category for this device? moving head (simple)?

Hello Daniel,

The difference between the category names, Effects and Moving Heads, are only the default performance features so that no difference in the parameters which can be controlled. 
The difference between Moving Head and Moving Head (Simple) is the number of moving heads you can use as shown below. 

4 Moving heads: You can assign Moving Head 1 to Moving Head 4 so that  the four moving heads' data is performed. 
　　　　　　　 
2 Moving heads: You can assign Moving Head 1 (Simple) to Moving Head 2 (Simple) so that the two moving heads' data is performed.
