CDJ2000NXS vs. CDJXDJ ASIO Recordbox Dj

Hoi,

Like the most setup's I play on, I connect the pioneers with USB cables. Launch Rekordbox DJ, select the ASIO and it's play time.

My last gig was with 2 x CDJ2000NXS. Plugged them in. Firmware was 1.43. But the ASIO driver refused to run. So I could control the CDJ's but no audio was selectable. Now after trying everything for 3 days, I'm stuck.

Windows recognized the CDJ2000NXS as CDJ2000 NXS HID 1 and 2. (Seen in the infobox under recordbox audio settings)

My friends macbook was running Traktor and had no problems running the 2 CDJ2000NXS with audio.

1. I have a Core account.

2. Reinstalled the driver.

3. Followed the tutorial to check the signature of the driver.

4. Reinstalled Recordbox.

5. Reinstalled my Windows system.

PS: I never had problems with all other systems from Pioneer.

Still nothing. I hope someone can help me. :)

Check that the CDJ was not assigned as a Windows audio device - in that case, the ASIO device may not be available to rekordbox.

Did you see the CDJ as an audio device in the Windows Device Manager?

Hey! Thx for the reply.

Just back from testing it with a CDJ3000 and a XDJ1000 system.
It works fine on both systems.

I will get a CDJ2000nxs set tomorrow for further testing and check if it shows in Device Manager as on audio device.

I see that all Pioneers (3000 and x1000) are viewable in the Windows audio settings.

They should be visible, but not assigned as an audio device.

Hi Pulse,

I've tested 2 other CDJ2000NXS. Everything suddenly works fine.

I really don't know how this is possible.

Gr,

Wouter.
