Vinyl emulation for DDJ1000 / Technics 1210

I am currently paying  to use Rekordbox with their monthly plan.

I was wondering if there was an alternative which i could connect without a monthly payment (ie like a Serato Scratch live which i used many years ago)

Id rather pay an upfront cost for some equipment rather than an ongoing plan.

So that's a bit confusing because the DDJ jogs themselves have "vinyl emulation" in that they emulate vinyl by allowing you to scratch.

If you mean DVS (you're actually going to use a timecode vinyl on a turntable), then that would require a subscription as the DDJ-1000 is DVS-ready, but does not unlock that feature.

As an alternative to paying a monthly fee, you could purchase either an Interface2 box or a DDJ-XP2 which both unlock DVS mode.
