DDj-200 buttons activate without being pressed

the hot cue buttons 5-8 on deck 2 also activate the headphone cues, master cue and transition fx and vice versa (headphone cue 1 activates hot cue 5, headphone cue 2 activates hot cue 6, master cue activates hot cue 7 and transition fx activates hot cue 8). This kind of looks like the buttons are interconnected and work as one.

Yeah, then that sounds like a hardware issue -- the only other thing I'll suggest before considering service is to try a different USB cable, otherwise contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or repaired.

Hi Ciprian,

No, that certainly shouldn't happen - which software are you using when this occurs?

Ciprian Teodorescu

Hi,

I'm using the latest rekorbox version 6.5.3

Thanks!

Can you open the MIDI panel (top right) and press the DEFAULT button on the pop-up MIDI window? It will ask if you want to save, but you don't have to. Check to see if that resolves it, if not, we can move on to checking the MIDI signals being output; let me know if you're on a Mac or PC.

Hi, I'm on a PC. I tried pressing DEFAULT (without saving) in the MIDI panel, but the issue persists. I also checked the MIDI signals with the MIDI-OX app and when I press any of those 8 buttons, they send two signals, one that it theirs and one that is supposed to be from the corresponding button. (e.g.: if I press the hot cue 7 button, it sends the MIDI signal for hot cue 7, but also for master cue button)

I also tried plugging the controller into another PC (also running the latest rekordbox version) and the issue persists
