rekordbox 6.5.1 question
Hi.
In the release note there is the following statement.
- You can use rekordbox (Hardware Unlock) when the following mixer and PC/Mac are connected via USB cable and the mixer and the CDJ-3000 are connected via LAN.
DJM-900NXS2
Does that mean the DJM-900NXS2 is a Hardware Unlock device now or just in linkage with the CDJ-3000 only the DJM need to be connected via USB and the CDJ's can be connected via LAN only to be able to use the CDJ as Hardware Unlock?

I am trying to find out what is the best way to connect the devices. Right now I got the DJM-900NXS2 and the CDJ-3000's connected via USB and LAN with the PC.
Technically I wouldn't need the USB connection from teh CDJ's anymore?

Thanks for clarifying.

It means that previously, in order for the CDJ-3000 to act as a hardware-unlock device for rekordbox in performance mode, you needed to connect at least one of the players via USB to the computer. Many DJs prefer to use the link-bridge and have only the mixer connected via USB (which does not unlock performance mode), and then the CDJs linked via ethernet. This is a great connection method to reduce cables, but unfortunately it was not allowing the software to unlock with valid hardware. Now it does!
