CDJ 2000 SOMETIMES WAVE FORMS NOT THERE

so have all tunes on a usb stick which has been exported from rekordbox

most tunes are fine however there are like 3 or 4 songs in a 60 song playlist that the waveform doesnt show up. neither does bpm, but once it starts playing the bpm eventually shows up and the waveform builds

whats up with that?

Fai Oz

Hi there. Same thing here. Drew has 3-4 tracks out of 60 where the waveform doesn't show. In my case i don't see the waveform at all. I'm talking about the moving  waveform. I tryed several memsticks, sdcards n hdvs, still nothing......... what's up with that???

Biacco

Are you sure you're analyzing the tracks with Rekordbox 2.0 or higher?

drew demberg

the moving waveform would only be available on the nexus

yes just downloaded rekord box the other day from internet i dont get it really most tracks work

Pulse

What is the filetype of the tracks missing the waveform?  And had they previously been exported to the device before use in a CDJ2000nexus?

drew demberg

i dont have the nexus, i just have cdj 2000

they are all mp3 or wav they should be compatible and i think they showed up before too they were all analyzed in rekord box

Fai Oz

The filetype i use is mp3(320 kbps). I previousely exported them before getting the cdj2000nexus.And did the whole procedure agan after getting the cdj2000nexus.  I tryed all media device supported but still nothing. i'm using RB 2.0.1.

Gavin

@Drew > Can you identify the particular tracks this is happening with or is it seemingly at random?

Alex

I have a similar Problem. But i have it an inverted way. From 50 Tracks 3 show up a wav-form/bpm. I use the newest rekordbox and analazid them all...

Alex

ah, and colours dont show up too. I Marked many tracks with red, but in the cdj2000 is everything white

Alex

my mistake, when i check the info, the tracks are marked red, but shouldnt they be in red font?

PS: My important question is about he wav-form/bpm
