How can i use a usb on rekordbox performance, without having to import all the songs?
With my controller (DDJ - RX) i cant read anything in rekordbox of any usb, unless i go to export mode, where i cannot use my controller?
This is really anoying as i dont want to download all my songs to my laptop when i go to play.. Is there a way to fix this or bypass neading to download all my songs on to my neally full laptop :?

This ability is already being considered for a future update - the problem is/was in the design of the database and the inability to load multiple databases.

Using rekordbox dj (performance mode) currently relies on having the music in your collection, not from an export device - that database is designed for a player (like a CDJ or XDJ).
How did you get the music on that USB drive in the first place?
Not sure if this is what Marinus is referring to but it would be super handy to be able to plug someone else's thumbdrive of rekordbox exported tracks into your laptop and run them through performance mode so you can go back to back with each other using a controller setup / dvs setup etc
I dont understand why i can use my friends usb flash drive(with cue points and loops) in cdj-900 nexus without any problems, but in rekordbox dj with ddj-rx NO.... stupid marketing or what???? And pioneer, please dont say that you cant make it) or we need to mugrate to the latest danon controllers and cdj's ?????

I have an imac i do all my preperation on, and it is so annoying, that you are not able to plug in a usb to rekordbox and play directly of it? I dont want to download my whole colection on to rekordbox and then play, and the same with my friends. Please fix in an update!!
