Recording external input with Pioneer DDJ-RX
Hi there,
i´m one part of a DJ Team. We´re playing simultaneously on 4 decks and two mixers. My decks are the Pioneer DDJ-RX with Rekorbox, my partner is playing on CDJ 2000s and Pioneer DJM 900 Nexus. My output goes into the DJM 900. So this is the Master Mixer.
My question: Is it possible to record our sets with my Pioneer DDJ-RX/Rekordbox (external input)???
Thanks Stefan

My recommendation is to connect the DJM-900NXS to your computer and record the input into another software (eg. Audacity). You couldn't loop-back the output from the DJM into an input on the RX as you'd create a feedback loop (since it's master output goes to the mixer).
There are two other options which are a bit more complex, so I'd suggest you try the above first.
Hi! I have the ddj rx and two cdj 400 conected to channels 3 and 4. I want to record my set in rekordbox but the software wont record the external inputs. How can I make it work?Thank you
The inputs are not routed through the software, and the recording stage is pre-output to the DDJ, thus no external devices in recording. Sorry!
