DDJ-RZ Wont play or load tracks in DDJ-RZ output mode

The only way i get any response from my DDJ-RZ Controller is if i play tracks through built-in output mode. As soon as i switch it to DDJ-RZ output, not only will it not play through my speakers but it won't even play the track nor do the jog wheels move the needle through the track. PLS HELP!! GIG COMING UP SOON!!
