AUTO LOOP IN DDJ-RB and SYNC in CDJ-400

1. I'm just wondering if there is a way to create an automatic 8 beat loop and not a 4 beat loop , Is it possible to change the factory settings?

2. can i map in cdj-400 a sync button?

Yes, you can use the MIDI learn feature to assign a button to trigger an 8 beat loop.

I have the same issue. By the way, can you do the loop 1/2, 1/4, etc.. in DDJ-RB?

Wonderful, I'm very familiar with MIDI mapping RB software but I didn't found a midi command to do 8 bars loop (we have Double Loop or Half Loop)

how can i change the 4 bars auto loop  to 8 bars auto loop?

and what about the sync in cdj400 can i map a can  sync button on the cdj?

Pulse

There is no direct mapping available to a specific loop length; the default is 4 beat, so you could map the "auto loop" and the "double," but not 8 beats directly.

Yes, you can map a sync button on the CDJ, but you have to sacrifice whatever that button's original function is.

Wonderful I will sacrifice one button gladly  but how do I do it?

CDJ-400 Does not appear ander the midi like a controler as ddj-rx or ddj-rb?

the midi Column is Empty without any orders??

to the ddj-rb i found a "auto loop 8 bars" it is work 100%

Pulse

Yes, my bad! There are settings for "auto loop X beats/bars" so you can have it automatically jump to a loop of your predetermined length. The CDJ-400 would work the same as any other MIDI controller, provided you have the proper drivers installed, and it's detected by your system, you will find it under the MIDI tool. If you happen to have another device (such as a DDJ) connected, you will NOT see the CDJ-400.

Hey  pulse ,Thanks for the help

cdj400 the last driver version 1.5 xdj/cdj is installed in my pc win 7 64 bit

a pair of cdj400 every one with a Quality usb cable (only them no ddj )

RB 4.21 ver. thay are working fine and the software recognizes them correctly

still  in the midi colom all the midi commands are empty (not like my ddj-rx or ddj-rb)

What am I missing here?

CDJ400 Firmware is the last 1.33 ver.
