XDJ-RX Platter acting odd.

 When the track is stopped and deck is in vinyl mode I can control the track fine like a record. When i hit play it only allows me to nudge the track from the platter. If i touch the face of the unit with my hand and then touch the platter as well, it allows me to control the track while playing. but the second i lift my hand off the face it dosent work.
