cannot load tracks to xdj-rx via lan cable - tried everything !!!!!!!

Hi guys

I'm really struggling here, I've done everything I can find on here to make this work.

when I  connect mac book pro running osx 10.8.5 to XDJ-RX in export mode

I can see the link - the decks light up to green - but when I try to load any tracks the jog wheels just flash and nothing loads  . I've gone thru as much as I can on here , followed all the steps I could find and its still not working.

Ive done

another cable , firewall is off - no wifi, updated xdj firmware drivers, loaded the mac book with the xdm audio driver  reset the midi devices…….

( incidentally when I try to connect in performance mode as a midi - I can play sound thru the xdj from the laptop in performance mode - BUT cannot use the xdj to control anything .

this is killing me - am I missing something else - someone please help !!!!!!!!!

So - after getting no joy from Pioneer dj uk helpline I tested it using my mac pro desktop and it works fine which means the XDJ-rx is fine ( good )

- BUT I can't use that computer for gigs.   So I updated my macbook pro laptop to
OSX El capitan

still nothing.  I deleted Rekordbox and re installed that and activated rekordbox dj also.

It works fine in MIDI mode - just not with the LAN cable in export mode.

Максим Акула yes can you Skype me !! - I"m just loading it to my laptop now - give me 5 mins

So  - SUCCESS :-)))))

after much help from Russia via skype last night  from the kind man above,
we decided that the laptop needed a clean install of El Capitan
( previously I upgraded which leaves all the old rubbish on the system )

It took me all day to sort out but hey

 IT NOW WORKS !!!!

those of you having LAN connection issues with your xdi's on a mac which don't make sense.
I reckon its mixed up convoluted permissions / plist files screwing it up.

Happy days and thanks once more to my new Russian friend !!!!!

I am also very glad to meet you! I was glad to help! We need to help each other! Peace to all!

Nice job, Maksim!  Happy to see our users helping each other.  This is exactly why this forum exists!

Glad you got it sorted, Jim!  Computers can make troubleshooting a DJ setup very confusing sometimes.
