REKORDBOX DJ 4.0.1 RECORDING ISSUE :( with XDJ RX
I have a XDJ RX. i have been recording my sets through the USB plugged in to the XDJ Rx all these time.. but now i switched to Rekordbox DJ and when i record something through the software ....there is no audio in the file... i tried to use a USB and record but it doesn't work... when used as midi controller. Please Help

This was answered in another thread; the XDJ-RX does not have the ability to record within rekordbox as the unit itself has a recording feature (to USB). The RX audio interface does NOT have an input (to the computer) so it can't send that signal back for recording.
The only work-around is if you configure ASIO4ALL to manage your RX outputs, you are then able to record the master within rekordbox while still sending the audio to the RX.
Check your settings in Rekordbox
i think it records to your hard drive in whatever
specified folder in settings

@pulse yes i have sorted a folder for my recordings it records fine when the xdj is unplugged from the mac... when try to use the xdj via midi the master volume button and record output selection goes without action.
Could you please post a screenshot of your rekordbox preferences audio configuration, not the main rekordbox window?

@Pulse, I'm having the same problem with my xdj-rx and rekordbox dj, there will be a file recorded and saved but there won't be any audio in it.. I can see as for now that the RX is not yet compatible to configure the "Input Master" as "Master Out" in "Setting Utility". So what do you say? Should we be waiting for the next update to be released or is there any solution ready for this issue?
I have tried many options to work around this, but recording directly
to the usb recorder on the XDJRX is the only thing that works.
I'm guessing that since this device was never designed or intended to
be used as a controller, that function is not possible or necessary.
It would be cool if we could record to the hard drive with Rekordbox, but
it still does the same thing, just to usb. Who knows maybe somewhere down
the line they can make that work.
Hi I have been using Pioneer DDJ-RX after updating the software with the new version which is 4.1 the recording playback has glitches , after almost every minute it starts skipping , Never Had this problem with previous recordings.
Don't know where is the problem
