ONLY "Out-Channel 1 & 2" in NI-Traktor with XDJ-RX on Win 8.1 64bit!!!

Hi there,

I have an real strange issue with the software (driver and traktor). So when I want to use the XDJ-RX with NI-Traktor it only gets the "line xdj rx wasapi shared" device and not the "xdj-rx asio" device like in rekordbox. That means I am not able to use traktor with my xdj-rx beacause I didn't get the channel 3 and 4 ... only channel 1 and 2 ...under "external mixer --> output"..... so beacause of that I am only able to play deck a or b or c .... just only one deck. I have tried a lot of things like other drivers ...external asio driver ... another usb-ports ... installed driver in another windows-mode... deactivate other sound-cards ... reinstall traktor... I even get this failure with my djm-850!!! ... months before it works with the djm-850.

To get this clear ...see the two pictures from the settings-menu!

Ah, it looks like you're using the software in 64bit mode -- the Pioneer ASIO drivers are only available in 32bit mode. What you'll have to do is follow these instructions to get Traktor back to 32bit mode so the DJM drivers will show-up:

  1. Go to "C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Traktor 2”. In this folder you will find the current 64-bit version of TRAKTOR PRO called “Traktor.exe”. Please rename this to “Traktor64.exe” so that you have a backup of this version.

  2. Open the “x86” subfolder. You will find another “Traktor.exe” inside. This is the 32-bit version of TRAKTOR PRO. Please move or copy this application up one sub-folder to the "C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Traktor 2” folder.

  3. Now launch this newly copied “Traktor.exe” - this will now be the 32-bit version of TRAKTOR PRO.

You should now see the ASIO sound card available to configure your output routing.

Ahhhh ...cool...the 64bit app was the problem... Yeah... Now I solved it. Thanks Pulse. I backupped the 64bit one and replaced the original exe with the x86 folder exe and now it works.

Until 64bit drivers are released, that's the work-around. Glad it works for you!
