Rotary Select Wheel
Just out of curiosity... I was playing on a set of CDJ2000 Mk1 over the weekend in a venue, and the large rotary select dial (for scrolling through and selecting tracks) was playing up a little. Not much, just occasionally jumping up/down two tracks when you only turned it by one click. Its no big deal and perfectly workable, but it got me thinking, if that dial broke during a night, is there any other way of selecting a track?

You could use your laptop to load tracks over the rekordbox link, that would allow you to drag-and-drop files directly to the players without using the rotary selector on the player.
If it's jumping around, the contacts could be dirty or worn and servicing or a replacement would be advisable.
