Hi Guys I had the DDJ ergo and I lost my original cable. Im trying using a different usb cable but the ddj ergo doesnt work at all, the only thing that appers at all its a red flshing light at the volume bar. Anyone can help me? I saw some video on youtube saying that I need the origfinal cable to work the table but i thought all the USB cable were the same and had it the same power.
And My computer doesnt reconize it anymore the ddj ergo, so I can upgrade the driver or anything like that, I dont know what to do
Thanks

If you have tried the ERGO on 3 different computers, with their power cables connected, and still have the same problem, it's recommended that you send your controller for servicing. Please contact Pioneer technical support in your region to have the unit repaired.
The ERGO uses a standard USB A-B cable, you can use ANY USB cable, you don't need the original one.
Which LED is flashing?
It's flashing the left volume led. Actually it's the only led that it's flashing. And my computer doesn't recognize my ergo anymore.
Thanks
The first one from the bottom?
Like the left volume commander, the one that commands the left side of the table.
Any help guys?!
That still doesn't tell me which one it is -- can you post a photo?
Yeah I will tomorrow, but what difference.would.make.if is one or another???
I've asked the engineers to provide some input on this.
The engineers have replied:
When a power-related error is detected, this LED blinks. When power is not sufficiently supplied, this error sign usually appears.
Is your computer connected to an AC adapter? (It is recommended to use an AC adapter.)
Also, please try other computers to check if they cause the same issue just to make sure.
Thanks for askign them,
But I tried in 3 diffenrent computer and the same thing happen. Also all 3 computers doesnt reconize my ddj ergo. Im not using the original USB cable from ddj ergo but you also said that doesnt matter.
I tried 2 USB cable already, Im goign to try another one tonight.
Any change that my ergo is broken? I dont remember of any thing that could break , or blow , or do something to my ddj ergo.
Sorry my english, its been a while that i dont speak english.
Your english is fine! :)
Sorry to say, but it sounds like the problem is your ERGO. Please contact Pioneer technical support to arrange to have the controller serviced. You can find contacts for support in your region here.
