[SOLVED] Setting of the advance of the jog wheel on ddj sz

Hi erevy one,

I was wondering if there is a way to set the advance of the jog wheel (number 2 in the technical notice). For instance, when I launch my track with a bit of delay I have to make almost one turn of the jog wheel to catch the cue point. It would be easy for me the set my tracks if I could increase the path of the jog wheel... all of that in Vinyl mode

Hope I'm clear enough

Are you talking about the response speed of the rotation of the jog?

Romain

if you mean Adjusting the jog dial’s MIDI message sending interval ..no this can be done with the manual.

When tracks are almost set together, but one is a little bit late. To set them properly I have to make that track going forward  a little bit with the jog wheel but when I'm doing that I have to do at least one turn with the jog wheel. I would like to do it with a quarter of turn.

Thanking you, Pulse for answering me

Pulse

No, I understand -- you mean the responsiveness of the jog; small motion to make a big reaction.

Unfortunately the jog speed is fixed across all Pioneer players; allowing an adjustment would be a detriment in situations where multiple DJs might use the players and one DJ may adjust it differently than another. Sorry!

Romain

Ok it's what I thought ... also i will do with it and change my habits!!!

Cheers Pulse
