Traktor pro user having problem with live session

I have recently upgraded to a pioneer sx2 using the traktor tsi. I am really disappointed that i cannot use all the functionality of the controller.  The most important thing I cannot cue the tracks properly because of the live master mix coming through headphones no matter what I cannot hear the separate cue setting. really frustrated. Help or this beast will have to go.
