Since serato controllers such as ddj sx2 can be used on the new rekordbox dj can the reverse happen for the new DDj RZ and DDJ rx. Can the new controllers work with serato?

No, they are designed specifically as rekordbox controllers. Serato will not likely provide support for them.

oooh damn so the older controllers like ddj sz and ddj sx 2 is the better option as far as versatility. Thanks for the feed back pulse I appreciate it you saved me some money.

Hey pulse one another thing does both the ddj sx2 and the ddj rx have the same latency when being used with rekordbox dj. I guess what I am trying to ask since they both work with rekordbox dj, besides the layout and on board effects the rx has do they both have the same internal workings or is the rx have a hardware upgrade compared to the sx2 for better latency and sound ect...

Pulse

I don't have an answer for that as the hardware hasn't been released yet (only announced).

Good evening. Happy new year. Now that it has been released, do ddj rx has the ability to be mapped for other programs, such as traktor etc? I'm asking because ddj sr-sx-sx2 has, and they were supposed to work only with serato (((s))x. (Sorry if my English is not good enough)

Pulse

@mintzax > As previously noted, there are no plans for Pioneer to officially provide support such as TSI mappings for other software as the DDJ-R_ family of controllers are designed and marketed specifically for use as rekordbox controllers. They are MIDI compatible devices but it's up to the user to configure the software of their choice for use with these controllers.
