CDJ 900 USB issue
Hi i have a CDJ 900 when i plug a usb in the top of the deck the light flashes on my usb so its getting power but on the CDJ screen it still reads no usb .....any chance anyone knows whats going on please? thanks

make sure the flash drive is not formatted NTFS, it must be FAT16/32 or MAC HFS+
its the same usb i use to update the other types of cdjs 1000, 2000 etc.....so its in the correct format?
As @BriChi mentions, it has to be in FAT, FAT32 or HFS+. You also need to remember to unzip the firmware files from the download package and the files must be in the root level of the USB drive.
Worst case scenario, reformat the drive and try again. If you need instructions on that, let us know (just post which operating system you're using).
Hi guys its not the usb stick or the fact i have the firmware in a folder.......... i update different units all day long with the same usb stick but this cdj 900 seems to have a fault? the light on the usb stick lights up when inserted in to the cdj but its not recognised? it gets power but the unit does not see the usb?
Have you tried other USB drives?
