[CLOSED] DJM-900 Nexus Lock Master Volume?
I heard somewhere that it's possible to set the master volume with an computer. But is it possible to lock the master volume (with a computer), so that if you turn the master volume knob nothing will happen. So if a dj wants to crank up volume he isn't able to.

I doubt it, The only settings I ever see are in the CLUB Menu on the mixer, you can adjust the db value of the main out, I never seen anything done via a computer or locking it. you can however set you processors limiter like a drive rack or whatever you are using to "limit" the output even if they crank the master on the mixer
actually, let me take back the "i doubt it" part. I am sure it can be done by a Pioneer engineer, unfortunately we will not get the info to do this unless someone gets an inside contact
@Maicky > No, its not possible to do or if it is, its certainly not possible by the end user. Ideally, you should have a limiter or control of the amplifier if you are worried about the DJ doing damage to a house system.
