[SOLVED] DDJ-SR jar.

[SOLVED] DDJ-SR jar.

I recently downloaded the new firmware for my DDJ-SR.  the jar file states: 'Your DDJ-SR is not connected', though my DDJ-SR is connected to my laptop (Mac OS X version 10.8.5).  Need assistance, please.

Hey Joseph,

I'm an owner of an SR and I'm concerned about this update as well -I've not done it yet for fear of bricking a unit.

My question is where are the instructions on how to do the update?

also what was the MFD date on the bottom of your unit?

Your unit, even while connected, will say that it is NOT connected if you haven't put the unit in update mode. Please follow the directions as posted here: http://pioneerdj.com/support/files/img/DDJ-SR_Firmware_Update_Guide_E.pdf
