XDJ-R1 freeze with firmware 1.09

@Ghassen > Sorry to hear you are having issues with your unit. Did this only happen when connected to remotebox? Have you been able to reproduce the error at any other stage? Can you remember a particular track you might have been playing?

I just bought the xdjr1 I absolutely love it. but.....ive only had it for three days and its froze twice.. I have the newest firmware and upgrades. it freezes when I hit the sync button in the middle of the set. also a few songs that I analyze with rekordbox later wont be recognized as analyzed when on my flash drive. I would be scared to use this system live. I hope we get the bugs all worked out because this system could be great if so.

That froze a lot of times and i don't know if i may use it on live performance; this unit doesn't freeze for a particular sound. Sometimes the track continue to play and cyou cannot mix anything tilll the track end or you restart the unit. Also i have to mention that all the track are sampled with rekordbox for a best performance.

Hy.have same thing.heyhey pioneer waikup it'S an emergency .dj's can use xdjr1 live.1.09 still available on official website..so our comment don't touch this big compagny.I wait one week more about new updatd and i will change for another and not pioneer ..

Same trouble. using it fist week (brought it 2 weeks ago). xdj-r1 freeze while using (MIDI) with virtual dj pro latest software.

will pioneer issue fix for this mass trouble? can't use it because of periodically freeze. not stable

I bought a controlling r1, I have the same possessions told already previously, she freezes, the effects echo, flange and pithc of the table doesn't work with the traktor, and the pioneer doesn't do absolutely anything, I will ask for reimbursement of my money.

100 days without any update to solve the problems....

Pioneer, are you hear us??

One solution would be really nice...  in a foreseeable future :-)

after many test i have a good result... the freeze is caused by bad file or bad usb support. Now with an good usb sandisk ultra and a good file mp3 no have more any freeze... be continue...

yesterday it happen to me when setiing up a cue at the begining of the track and unfortunatly i was performing live pioneer engineer should consider this really urgently

I have just had the same problem while Dj-ing on Friday at a local venue, probably won't be using the R-1 again, will be sticking to my Aero in future, I  think  that it is a Hardware/Processor issue, why else would the whole unit  freeze if was a Rekordbox file problem, plus I only have about 2000 files on my hard drive, the R-1 should easily deal with that, as previously stated I am also annoyed that this unit is so poor, the Dj Aero (which I also use) is a million times better than this, I also think that the Remotebox software is maybe to blame as well, Pioneer should have used Rekordbox connectivity from the start, why would you develop your playlist on the Rekordbox program, only to use another program (Remotebox) to control it, I have also read on other forums that  the Vinyl mode is maybe to blame as well, I also use Vinyl mode with the touch sensitivity on -2, I might try and use CD mode for a while to see if this is a factor, I do hope pioneer will get to the bottom of this issue, but if it is a hardware problem, I fear that it will be impossible to rectify overnight.

Hey i also have a similar problem, im playing for 4 months with xdjr1, but last saturday  i was  in the middle of the party ,and i think it was because it have to much midi information in the xdjr1, such as searching music or touching the jogwheel, it freeze the right side, but only midi control gets freezed the cds and usbs works.  Las t he friday the same thing, but boutgh sides. 

Please Pionner do something!!!

Pionner i Live and earn money since my 15 years old for Djing (I'm 30). I bought xdjr 1 excluding Native instruments (audio8 and normal CDs) so I need a quick a answer.

I had the R1 crash just as announced the first dance at a wedding on Saturday, the unit just wouldn't play so had to power off, also it's starting to say on the ipad cannot find the XDJ R1 database. This is just getting stupid now!

Can the xdjr1 be used with rekordbox via directly connected to a pc? Or does it only connect to I pads? I would like to connect to a cpu because my library I way too big for an I pad to hold!
