Is it worth upgrading from an EFX-1000 to the new RMX-1000?

I have an EFX-1000 and I'm a massive fan.

Is it worth selling and getting an RMX-1000?

The thing I like about the EFX is how easy it is to use, not sure if the RMX would be that simple to navigate in the heat of a mix...

Those who have one share the knowledge :)

I've only owned mine for a day and love it.  I've never owned an EFX-1000 but have had a play about on one.  I've uploaded a quick demo video showing some of the features the RMX can do.  It isn't the best video but hopefully will do until something more pro comes out.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQc1IEuYUOc  The sound quality is not the best as I forgot to turn down the dB on the 900 utility settings.

Very nice movie Hesitant !!! Now I know so much more about the rmx!! :)

Thanks TheOne.  I've just uploaded a quick demo on the remixbox software if you want to see some of the possibilities with that.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uwq7sKxMCns&feature=plcp

Sorry the quality is a bit crap.  Will upload a better quality one later tonight

Nice videos!

Tom, the RMX is superior.  It is also a lot easier to use than the EFX.

Someone's a Joachim Garraud fan! ;)

@Tom > The EFX and RMX are two entirely different generations of equipment. You'll love the RMX!

Hesitant

@Gavin - Haha I'm just a retro space invader fan.
