Sound delay on DDJ T1
Hi all, I hope this is not a daft question, but here goes.
I am running Traktor 2 and the DDJ T1 on a Dell Laptop with Windows 7, 64 Bit, Intel Core i3 processor and 3GB of RAM. I have connected the master out to an amp with speakers.
The system all works fine, however, when cueing a track in the headphones, it seems to play a lot faster than the track coming out of the speakers, hence there appears to be a delay in sound coming out of the speakers. I have the latency set as low as possible and get no drop out, but cannot fathom why there appears to be a difference in speed between headphones and speakers. Consequently, you think you have the beats synced but they are way off when I then mix the tunes.
I have tried using a different amp and speakers and the problem still exists. Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks

Don't know why it duped... but that's my esplanation. I thought something was wrong too, but when I'm right in front of my monitors with my headphones on, it is far less noticeable than when I'm further away.
@Andrew > What is "Low as possible" for your latency? What is the ACTUAL setting?
Hi, I have the same problem on Ergo controller. There is a latency in the sound between the headphones and the speakers. Help :)
@Johnny > This thread is regarding the DDJ-T1 controller; please start your own thread in regards to the DDJ-ERGO and I'll be happy to help you out -- please let us know a bit more detail (ie. what software, what your latency settings are, what your computer / OS are, etc).
