[SOLVED] CDJ900 Jog problem
Hi,
one of my CDJ900's has developed an issue with the jog wheel. All the lights within the jog wheel are constantly on and the jog wheel does not respond when playing.
I've tried the everything including trying to reinstall the firmware but not had any luck.

strip it down and make sure all ribbons are firmly placed. Don't worry, they are very very easy to strip down and put back together. Whilst you have it stripped down, examine the circuit boards and make sure there is no residue (i.e, spilt drink or cigarette tar build up).
I'd rather not take it to bits as I've got previous in making things worse. Electrocuting myself and making my Playstation smoke being one that springs to mind.

I’ve been told that the board under the jog wheel is duff and needs replacing.
I was asked if I've ever spilt on it because it's got wet at some point :-/ and been quoted £200 for the part and repair. Sounds a bit steep but be but I know Pioneer like to charge the earth.
