BriChi

Steve Marx

whem I click on the link I only see version 4.20 for download, isnt this the problem version???

Looshus

Steve, I think you must be looking at the CDJ2000 mk1 update.   The most recent CDJ2000NXS update is v1.06.

soda

@steve: 4.20 is for normal cdj 2000..

1.06 ist the newest fw for cdj 2000 nexus ;)

Steve Marx

thanks to both replies above. so i just need to d/l 1.06 then right and I can completely ignore 4.20?

Gavin

@Steve > Do you have CDJ2000 or CDJ2000nexus?

Steve Marx

@ Gavin - I have CDJ 2000 NEXUS

BriChi

drumroll please......................................... LOL

as much as I wanted to take the day off, i could not, too busy at my job right now before the Christmas break. I did however get up about 45 minutes early to play, that;s how excited I was, Like Christmas morning :)    Anyway, FOr the 15 minutes I really got to bang away on them, they are awesome, not one lock up or temp freezes. Tonight of course I will put them through the regular paces but usually, as you all know, I could lock these decks up in 30 seconds, Now, I could not after playing 15-20 minutes really really hammering away on the hot starts.

1 bug I caught right away that did happen is the long loop bug from a cue point causing the deck to go into emergency loop, This happens if you creat a cue point into the track a little, let's say 1 minute in, call it up from memory, let the track play for about 2 minutes or more and then hit "out" to loop back to the original cue point, after 10-20 seconds it goes to emergency loop, no big deal being that no one probably does this often but hopefully that is fixed in the next update. Other then that, I will be reporting back tonight

great job Pioneer!!

I see what steve is talking about, when you go to the software download on the nexus deck, like in the pic i attached, it shows all the info for you to up[date the 2000mk1 to 4.20 for compatibility with the nexus, then when you click "FIRMWARE" you see 1.06, its a little confusing,

Projectsoft

BriChi, I'll post the same thing!

andycalder

wheres the firmware upgrade for the CDJ2000 mk1 as the freezing issue is happening with my units too?

Gavin

@steve > unless you have CDJ2000s, 4.2 is of no concern to you.
