[SOLVED] DJM 850 - used as Studio Soundcard USB?
Just looking at the new DJM850, and see its a USB Mixer and a 24/96Khz Audio interface /soundcard.
Can I use this as a proper studio soundcard/mixer with Mac OS X and Windows XP?
This would then double as a mixer, soundcard, and fx unit, with live adjustment of filters and fx in a more performance way (which I prefer when producing)
Can an input be recorded with live filter sweeps via the USB Soundcard?

@Mike > It certainly can. Because the software can be configured in such a way that you can send (from your computer) as well as receive audio (back from the mixer, to the computer), you can effectively use it as an outboard effects unit (for lack of better description).
can I receive audio information PRE-Fader then process it say in ableton and then output in then use the fader on the output ?? (via usb)
Answered that in your other thread.
