Searching On Recordbox Getting Rainbow Wheel
When I search on recordbox (22,000 Songs) no mater what search criteria I use on my mac I get the rainbow wheel and sometimes recordbox just closes. I notice if I type super fast the rainbow wheel does not happen as much. I have always experienced this issue from day one! and this is annoying when in the mix and trying to pull up songs.
I am not sure if others experience the same issue. Any help would be appreciated.

oh you're not the only one, I have been complaining and complaining about the horrible search engine in RB, It's a joke, I have 24,000+ songs and it's the same thing, in 2.0.1 it's even worse, it freezes constantly when typing
I even posted comparison videos from years ago and still nothing has been improved, here is one of many I posted in January comparing RB and serato's searching, clearly serato BLOWS it away

and on top of the searching being slow as crap, if you add more words to a search it' searches using an "AND" command which is sad, so you can see in the video below that besides it locking up a lot, I can search for "mr pulse" which has no results, but if I add any word after, it comes up with a bunch of songs..... Pretty sad being how basic a search engine is in any free software

thanks for validating the issue. I thought the issue was on my end. I do agree this is a JOKE "Searching" is the Brick & Morter of the program.
