overheat djm 900nxs2
The lower metal part of the djm nxs2 case is very hot; the mixer is turned on without any action. Tell me this is normal? That is how it should be?

If you can't cook on it, it's not hot enough.
Seriously, those things bake in the sun at festivals and keep on truckin', even without any active cooling. I know some DJs don't want to take the risk so they remove them from roadcases and use a fan, but it's not necessary.

I recall that my nxs2 was hot when it was pretty new with the first firmware releases. But with the Firmware updates it went to normal temperature.
What firmware version you are using?
