Pioneer CDJ 400 Encoder Issue

 Hi,

 

I'm hoping there's a simple solution to my problem but basically I bought a pair of CDJ 400s to use with Traktor/Rekordbox DJ in HID mode. However, the encoder of one of the cdjs does not seem to work so when I launch either Traktor/Rekordbox DJ, both ask to turn the encoder to select which deck I wish to to operate so unfortunately I can't select any deck rendering my CDJ useless. Is there any way to bypass this without having to forking out €80 to get it repaired?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

No not yet. I had to order a new encoder connection off ebay which took a month to arrive from Malaysia so I'm waiting to drop it off to be repaired. Unfortunately I could not find any alternative solution
