platter release
Hi all
noob question here, how can i play my track when i hold down the platter on the cdj and release platter in vinyl mode ?
do i need to actually press play reverse the track(with platter) to first beat and then release the platter ?

Play with it man- they're fun.. you will learn. you might want to look up the look up autocue function -

Click on Previous Track to go to the begin of a track (<-) ---->> Press play and hold the platter (make sure its in vinyl mode) --> Once released it's going to play from the beginning.. was this your question? or did I misunderstood something? ;-)
you are close, when i had my cdj800 it had the quick return button to jump back to the cus point when the platter was release like in the youtube clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnEYvpi66eE - can this be done on cdj2000 easily >?
Oh you meant that!.. No that's not possible on the CDJ-2000.. But you could set a hotcue for the desired point and just trigger the hotcue.
