Rekordbox MacBook Pro Late 2017 with USB C Adapter HDMI etc
Hi!
I play with Rekordbox video. I want to buy a new MBP. For this I need a USB C adapter with HDMI and USB 3/2 connection, which must be used at the same time!
does that work without problems? are there any latencies between picture and sound? Can there be dropouts ???
Devices:
MBP 15 " Late 2017
Pioneer DDJ 1000
HDMI Beamer Acer
Best regards

I find the USB C multi adapter e.g. 4 in 1 or 5 in 1 with HDMI to be not durable. I bought one on Amazon for 50quid and it stopped working after 4 gigs or so. It stopped pushing out HDMI and also lost connection to my mixer mid gig.
I'm back to using a Elgato thunderbolt dock. It's more expensive than USB c multi adapter but more rugged. I have had my thunderbolt 2 dock since 2015 and to use it with my 17 MacBook Pro, I added an official Apple thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter.
There are Thunderbolt 3 docks available to purchase now from manufacturers like OWC, Elgato etc. I didn't buy one as my Thunderbolt 2 dock worked with Thunderbolt 3.
Many thanks....
