DJM-750 - Poor sound with cracking when recording. Sound skips when playing.
Hi,
I've Tried to record my DJ Set within Audacity Using DJM-750 Mixer and when I listen to my recorded Mix, It sounds very bad and having cracking sound within It (I have attached files in mp3 to help resolve this issue.)
What I want to do: Recording my vinyls(phono input) with Audacity by rooting sound to the internal sound cards of the mixer (DJM-750) using an usb cable to my iMac.
See attached JPG to see my software and driver configuration. I've tried severals settings :44k, 48k, 96k with 16/24bits, adding buffer sizes, reinstall my mac, Reinstall the driver, even tried on a PC. No one worked for me.
Also, if I listen to itunes to USB DJM-750 Sound Cards, The sound skips after 1 minutes. I should toggle between internal speakers and DJM-750 Driver to re-enable the sounds to the mixer...
iMac (brand new generation) Configuration: OSX 10.9.1, Processor: 3,1Ghz intel Core i7, Memory: 16 Gb 1600 Mhz DDR3, Fusion Drive 1Tb with 900Mb free space.
Please help me with my new hardware, I'm so disappointed.

Look at the "Barracus" Answer at the end of the discussion:

Today I split my fusion drive according to this article:
http://www.macworld.com/article/2015664/how-to-split-up-a-fusion-drive.html
Then I reinstalled Mavericks 10.9 on the standard HDD partition.
Result: No more clicks and pops through the 18i20 with some basic tests with Garage Band recording/playback, Youtube playback, and iTunes playback!! (I installed the Focusrite class compliant driver again.)
I will be testing further before purchasing Logic - I have not tried to bump up the sample rate and I'd like to give it more time. So far so good though...
the djm 750 echo fx has a broken sound like the djm 800 djm 900
it doesnt take one clip, on track your trying to echo , it doesnt sound clean
the best mixer was & still using is the djm 400 , it has a very clean sound echo fx etc
