Library Playing & Management from PC to Laptop

Hi,

Ok, I need some help understanding what can be done, and what is allowed with the Rekordbox 4.0 software.

I recently got my CDJ2000NXS - first cd decks, and I am trying to make the most of all the sortware.

I then spent a couple of hours on my PC adding cue points, loops etc.

All good.

Then I wanted to move the cue points to my laptop which I was going to use with the CDJ's - like I had done previously with Serato.

Here I am confused.

I watched a video about moving the database - which I did, and now all of the files are on a USB stick with the cue points etc.

But I can only view them on the USB device in Rekordbox when in Export mode - and even then I can't play them from the CDJ's.

When I plug the USB into the CDJ's it all works fine.

It will let me play any song in the collection of the laptop rekordbox on the CDJ remotely - but this has no cure points, so it looks like it is just importing the track and none of the data I created.

I am just looking for a way to make the laptop show the cue points I created on the PC, and then to control them like I could with Serato.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

What you did was simply export your playlists for playback on a Pioneer DJ device.  Here is a great tutorial on how to move your entire library.
