New licenze system

Hi, just a question to better understand. I am using cdj 350 with a core plan, and Dvs record with an audio device that's on my mixer. I am planning to buy a ddj-xp1 or xp2. Will I be able to use, without the core plan anymore: A) use the CDjs? The license scheme is unclear. B) use the Dvs? The license scheme say you need an interface (I hope not a pioneer only) C) Whixh features of actual core plan I will lose by switching to a free+hardware unlock plan? Thanks for your clarifications.

Sorry, we've been busy with support inquiries since the launch of the CDJ-3000.

Yes, either the XP1 or XP2 would allow you to use the CDJs for HID control, as well as DVS (provided your mixer or DDJ supports it) without the need for a core plan subscription.

You wouldn't lose any features; please see the feature comparisons on the rekordbox website.

Dear Pioneer,

it's good to pay a montlhy license, but shouldn't be a support behind that?

I will ask again my question:

I am planning to buy a ddj xp1 or xp2.

Will i be able to use, with the HARDWARE UNLOCK LICENSE:

a) cdj's 350 with rekordbox?

b) the dvs vinyl with an external audio card?

are there some differences between the CORE PLAN and the HARDWARE UNLOCK license?

Thank you for the answer. Just to clarify, i've seen the comparison table. Where is written control with dj gear, is reported "hardware unlock devices only" (FREE), and it looks like that you can control only with the hardware unlock devices, and not all the cdjs (because at core is written "all supported devices".

If you click the hardware devices link from that page, it takes you to this FAQ, where the XP1 and XP2 are listed as unlock hardware.

That basically means with the XP1 connected, you unlock HID and DVS access per this chart
