RMX Station 500 dual midi and efffects control

I read that the RMX Station 500 can be used as a mini controller. So I can assign the buttons on the unit to Mixvibes so I can control cue, sync and those features correct? But would I be able to switch between midi mode and effects mode on the unit? Thanks.

As fair as I am aware, its only one at a time I don't think its easy to just switch between the two really quickly. This is because each button will have a different assignment

Ok. I was thinking the same thing. But I can assign all the buttons to the software if only used as a controller then right?

Thanks! It does say MIDI controller too. But just want to make sure.

If you're not running audio through the unit, then yes, it is only a MIDI controller. If you ARE running audio through it, it will still send MIDI signal, but all audio functions will also be performed.
