Is there a DDJ-1000 Beat Loop hold and release function?

On my DDJ-1000 in rekrodbox, when I hit a beat loop pad, it stays in the loop until I press the pad again. Is there a way to make it so it only stays in the loop until I let go of the pad? The function Im looking for is similar to the CDJ-2000nxs slip mode and also on the sb3 using serato, where it only stays in loop when I'm holding down the button and goes right back to the correct part of the song when I let go of the button.
